OUR VISION
Mount Aspiring College Foundation (MAC Foundation) supports Te Kura o Tititea Mount Aspiring College to unlock opportunities and enrich resources for all students. Established in 1993, MAC Foundation works to provide long-term financial support for Mount Aspiring College by managing donations and investments and facilitating projects that make an impact.
With legacy at its core, MAC Foundation is a place for alumni, donors, families and the Wānaka community to connect over the past, present and future of Mount Aspiring College.

Launched in 2024, MAC Foundation’s Aspiring Endowment Fund is an opportunity to invest in the future of Mount Aspiring College. This fund exists to provide ongoing financial support to the school under our three pillars: Equity, Excellence, and Wellbeing, while also reinvesting funds to ensure financial stability for our school for generations to come.
By contributing to the fund, you join a legacy investment that delivers student benefits today while building toward our future goal of $5 million invested.

Empowering opportunities for excellence
In the early nineties, the creation of MAC Foundation was pivotal in saving Mount Aspiring College from amalgamation with Cromwell College. The result was Mount Aspiring College and the Wānaka community coming together to create the Mount Aspiring College hostel. This innovative and successful initiative—along with the school’s nationally renowned Outdoor Pursuits programme—has made Mount Aspiring College a school unlike any other in New Zealand.
In 2021, Mount Aspiring College underwent major redevelopment work, which became the catalyst for the relaunch of MAC Foundation. With renewed vitality and purpose to further the education and experience of all students, MAC Foundation works to facilitate donations, scholarships and the endowment fund.
